About Rogers Area Wrestling

RAW Power News

Thank you all for a great 2009/2010 season. Again, it was memorable and exciting for kids and parents. We hope to see you all back again next season. If you have any concerns or questions, please let us know. You can reach us by email at rawpowerwrestlingmn@gmail.com or call any of the board members (see link above). Our goal is to keep the kids coming back each year so we can continue to grow our program. Our hope is to create a wrestling tradition in Rogers. We would love to hear any input or ideas you have for our program. We have many opportunities for volunteers year round.

We plan to have a float in the Rockin’ Rogers Days parade this year. The parade is Saturday, June 26th. We need volunteers to help put the float together, donate candy, as well as kids to walk in the parade. The kids love to walk in the parade and hand out candy and brochures. If you are interested in participating, contact Jen Wilson at jennifer.a.wilson@comcast.net. This is a great opportunity to promote our club.

We will also have a drawing next season for everyone who gets a friend to sign up for RAW. Have your kids talk to all their friends! We would love to fill our wrestling room next season!

Rogers Area Wrestling is a seven year old club dedicated to the sportsmanship and discipline of Folkstyle Wrestling. We are a club of athletes, coaches, and families who want to see Rogers Area Wrestling become a name recognized for wrestling greatness. We practice in a state of the art wrestling room at Rogers High School. Our coaches are well respected and experienced enough to teach children of all ages the sport of wrestling. We welcome children between Kindergarten and Sixth Grade of all sizes and experience. We also welcome the help of any parent, on or off the mat.
